Isn't it a great feeling? I remember the day I turned my thesis in, and I probably always will. (That could have something to do with the Event of National Importance the next day, I suppose, though.)
Congrats.
(I would give you a smiley, but I can't figure out how... the icons are there, but no little clicky-buttons, and nothing happens when I click on the icon itself.)
I'm free! Until next week, that is. Then I need to start preparing posters and talks for the conferences in June.
A few random thoughts (with some technobabble) for the post-mortem:
Printers don't like to be precise. I added 1/8" to the top and bottom margins just so they could actually come out to be at least 1 inch. I found this out right before printing out the final copies of the thesis (oops).
JPEG compression for bitmaps is bad. epstopdf is sad unless you give it GS_OPTIONS to turn off the JPEG compression. And then pdflatex makes your bitmaps intermittently sad if you use the Flate compression, so in the end you get large PDF files.
You can't graduate in May--only in June. What a difference a month makes on your cover page :)
The more supervisors you add, the more you need to hunt them down for signatures at the last minute.
The Course VI Undergraduate Office has a vastly superior collection of binder clips than MIT Libraries. Rock on.
