I tried putting my name into the LJ interest-matching meme site, but I got back a bunch of junk... until I told my browser to display UTF-8. Then it revealed itself to be an inane list of interests that was mostly in Japanese, like "love", "Internet", and "Tokyo", with some anime and J-pop.

Hey, FullMetal Alchemist is pretty good.

I'm told I should watch it one of these days (though I hear they have not released all the DVDs yet).

I think most of my objection is to the myriad J-pop stars, Sailor Moon, and random words like "ramen" and "love". Having an interest list that requires translation is also kind of special.
