This past weekend revisited, with comments
Nov. 8th, 2004 10:33 am- Got reasonable tickets to visit parents in Taiwan in December.
"Unreasonable" is defined as having to spend in excess of $2000, or having to sleep overnight at JFK and catch a 5am flight. - Bought cheap CDs of Telemann, Liszt, Gershwin, and Vivaldi (with a li'l Bach [still J.S.] on the side).
My classical music collection is growing by leaps and bounds, mostly because I get distracted if I listen to music with voices when I'm working. - Drooled and watched in disgust as
lokiect's PowerBook ripped my CDs at 12x, four times faster than my six-year-old machine.
Yeah, yeah, I should get a new machine :) - Laughed at The Grudge with
sculder,
lokiect, and Antonio. Teenage girls who scream make the movie; little kids who talk and make random noises break the movie.
I'm amused that Japanese uses the older form 呪 of the character 咒. But I bet I'm the only one entertained by this.
