Backups and sappy stories

This morning I decided to restore my files from my CDs now that I have a large-ish hard drive. As I looked through the files, I noticed a sappy Japanese story in Chinese that my mom e-mailed me a few years ago. A quick search determined that it was originally by Kuri Ryohei. I can't find either the Japanese original nor an English translation unfortunately....

Rice porridge

Advantages: tasty and warms you up.
Disadvantages: takes time, and now Ian's rice cooker is covered in rice goo.

I wonder if washing the rice more helps. I also noticed my rice cooker's lid doesn't have a hole to vent the steam....
