Oh, it's August!
Aug. 3rd, 2003 03:35 pmLooks like I completely failed to update my journal last month. Well, nobody really misses July, right? :)
Now that I've started my job, I've found myself rearranging schedules and events so they don't conflict with the work day. You would think that there's a lot of free time outside of work, but if a sane sleep schedule is desired, not all that much can happen. Each night I restrict myself to one activity that requires brainpower, which seems to be the least stressful way to go.
This coming month is filled with weekends of moving other people and packing my own stuff--looks like most people I know who've graduated and stayed in the area do their annual shuffle now. This nomadic lifestyle seems to render the entire month of August somewhat useless, but at the very least nobody's really doing it alone.
