Ian's Travel Journal, Part 3: New York (still stream of consciousness)

The Marriott Marquis in Times Square has these elevators arranged in a ring in the center of the building. They give you a head rush whenever you ride it for more than one floor.

I set up my poster at OHBM this morning, and pretty soon a bunch of people showed up at the poster session. Talking to the conference attendees made me realize first-hand that my thesis is quite relevant.

So how come it didn't really rain until today? The weather forecast predicted thunderstorms for Nashville and New York, and so far I haven't needed to use my umbrella that I bought just for this rainy trip.
