I'm not even in this dream!

I just had a dream about completely made-up people I'd never encountered. The details aren't terribly important--there's some kind of hostage/threat scenario involving a gun-toting terrorist who didn't seem to have a fixed gender, and a man who was later randomly joined by his presumed wife and father. But I was not involved at all in this dream, except for being the dream's "cameraman", so to speak. I'm guessing this sort of thing is kind of common (but not frequent)? Then again I could just be weird.

That's happened to me a couple of times, but not often and not recently.

I have that kind of dream fairly frequently. I think it is a sign of pent-up creativity. You must have all sorts of screenplays in your subconscious. If only we could tap that power...

They say that some of the most psychotic killers see their actions as if they are watching it happen 3rd person, unable to prevent them. Do you remember anything else from your "dream"? Like, where you stashed their bodies?

Yep, I have such camerman dreams now and then.
