Last night I had this surreal dream about watching movies. It was interesting enough--I don't recall the details--but then it devolved into a sort of mundane dream involving too much bathroom humor. At some point I got tired of it all, thought "okay, time to end this," and then woke up. But I was still tired, so I fell back asleep again, drastically changed the course of the dream, and resolved it in a deus ex machina ending.

This wasn't the first time I had to shut a dream down because I didn't like it, but I thought the ability to do that was pretty cool.

Insomnia means I'm probably going to be dead at work in the afternoon.

On the other hand I got my code to compile. So in the morning I can run it and watch it crash and burn!
