Comment on this post. I'll choose six userpics from your profile and you'll reply here (or you know, your own journal, whichever), explaining what they mean and why you're using them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so others can play along. Also, feel free to please ask me about my icons here, as well.
Since I have exactly 6 userpics right now, I get to describe them all:
Kirby: This is my default userpic, stolen from somewhere on the great Internet and resized to fit several years back. Sometimes I feel like a floaty pink blob, but most of the time this just seems like the most fitting of pictures to use as my avatar. Kirby's content but not excessively bouncy (at least in this rendition) and has a healthy dose of optimism, even if the world around him is rainbowy and bubbly and out to kill him. Such is the sad life of a video game character.
Me Worry?: I think I put this up back when I was stressed and worried and needed a picture to reflect my mood. I should use it more, but I never remember to flip through my userpics and pick the most appropriate one.
Scallions: I used to experiment with food a lot when I moved into my first apartment. I cobbled this icon together on my aging Windows box after searching at length for a photograph of scallions online. Whenever I posted about food I would use this icon.
Aggression: On one of my trips following ![]() |

Phishing: After signing up with Yahoo! Answers Taiwan, I got an e-mail about their new security measures and a little message warning users about phishing scams. It featured this cute little ninja/thief dude fishing in a puddle! Who could resist? But what would I actually use this picture for?
Oh! Powerful Candy: Roaming the aisles of Kotobukiya in the Porter Exchange, I found a bag of lemon drops with this kitchsy Roy Lichtenstein-ish series of cartoon panels on the back. I figured this must come in handy one day. |
So really I only use my default userpic with any regularity. What should I use the other ones for? Hmm.
