damselfrog sat next to her flock of younger siblings and was telling us how they needed to be weaned off the evil television. In the other, I helped lokiect look for a bug she was working on, and discovered that it was the etched text on the ends of canned fruit (peaches and maraschino cherries in syrup).
Speaking of which, it will be summer soon, and that means peach season! Do we get peaches for 99 cents a pound this year? At a party I went to Saturday, there was a movie playing in the background that involved shag carpeting, bad hair, and apples for 15 cents a pound! How did apples get so expensive now?
