Night before Thanksgiving, and it's quiet

I thought vegetating tonight would be relaxing, but apparently it's even better to clean the bathroom and run out to Star for emergency supplies. Got a phone card so I can actually call my parents (finally), and discovered that you don't actually strip off the sticker on the back to reveal the card number--you scratch it with a penny. I must have left my brain back by the turkeys in Star...

Eight-pack paper towel rolls were on sale!!! That made me so happy :)

OK... I've gotta ask how platelets made the list... I mean, I KNOW we'd be in BIG trouble without scrubbing bubbles, but....

I cut myself two weeks ago while washing dishes--the offending plate is now in the trash. And while I'm still waiting for my finger to heal completely, I'm glad my platelets intervened within the first ten minutes. Just happened to notice while I was making up the list.

Now, platelets and Scrubbing Bubbles (Fresh Scent®!)...that's a bad combination. :)
